Weekly Newsletter – 17 Nov. 2025

All Members,

The Queen of Hearts is on hold until the rules clear the committee for any changes to it, and approved by the General Membership.

We are a Toys For Tots drop off location again this year. Bring a new unwrapped toy to the lounge and make a underprivaged child’s XMas. Cut off is Dec. 5th 2025. The Riders and Aux. unit are sponsoring the Toys 4 Tots this year.

We also have the Angel Tree slips in the lounge. Please think about the older members of our community during the holiday season.

Thanksgiving Dinner is coming up on November 27 at 1pm in the hall. A sign up sheet is in the foyer who is planning to attend and what side dish they are planning to bring. The Ham, Turkey, and Mashed Potatoes will be provided by the Post.

Our kitchen is open for Lunch on Mondays and Saturdays from 11am until 2pm. Plus Tacos every week on Wednesdays. No wings this week, due to Cathy having something come up.

January 10th, 2026 from 5pm til 9pm, there is a funraiser for the post’s Honor Guard. Tickets are 1 for $13 or 2 tickets for $25.

January 17th, 2026 There is a planned diner being put on by the VetFest Committee. More details to follow.

The post has upgraded to a new access system. This system requires a new card that is electronically read and unlocks the door during business hours. To get your card, please stop by the lounge and write your name (please print) on the green card and turn it into the bartender. The adjutant will process the new card for you the next day. There is no cost for this new card, but if you lose the card, there will be a $5 replacement cost. If you have already done this, please stop by and pick up your card from the bartender.
